Do you sell topsoil?
We do not sell top soil or under soil, its best asking your local landscape yard for all your soil.
Do you do prep work and lay turf?
Yes, we have a group of subcontractors servicing all areas Tweed Heads to Brisbane.
How do I know how much turf I need?
Multiply the length and width of your lawn area. This should result in the total amount of turf required in square
What is the thickness of our turf?
Approximately 40 mm thick.
How much top soil do you lay?
Between 50 mm and 100 mm.
How long should I water the lawn after laying?
Water should be applied straight after it has been laid and it is to be soaked, using a sprinkler or irrigation system, every second day for 3 weeks, with a weekly water for the rest of its life.
How much notice do you need to give before ordering turf?
We ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and payment is to be received via credit card or direct transfer when you place your order.
How much turf fits on a pallet?
Between 40 and 50 metres fits on a pallet depending on which turf is ordered.
What days do you deliver?
We operate 5 and half days a week. Monday to Friday – 7:00am till 5pm. Saturday – 7am till 12.00pm. Sunday’s we are closed.
How long must I wait before I mow my new lawn?
Generally your new lawn will need mowing 2-3 weeks after installation.
Can I pick up from the farm?
Pick up is available from our farm 6 days a week, with morning pick up available. All appointed pick up times MUST BE adhered to, as this is a working farm and safety is important to us.
Our pick up times are:
Monday – 8.00am – 11.00am
Tuesday – 8.00am – 11.00am
Wednesday – 8.00am – 11.00am
Thursday – 8.00am – 11.00am
Friday – 8.00am – 11.00am
Saturday – 9.00am – 12.00pm
Can I come to the farm and see the turf types first?
Yes, farm inspections are welcome, but BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, please call the office on 07 5546 4154 to make your appointment. Again, as per pick ups, all appointment times MUST BE adhered to, as this is a working farm and safety is important to us.
